TabletsAfter that, you tell Bixby what you want it to do. Be very specific. Like VPN, what it does is open your vpn if that is what you tell it to do. You have to be specific, so put the name of the VPN you want open. Run quickly and save. You can tell it do most anything automatically. That's app one.

Tablets1. Charging status... charging. Right under if. 2. Battery level...equals to or above 100%
Then
1. Read notifications aloud. Choose an app. I have @Voice. But I will try it with Samsung stock apps. But any app like @Voice will do. It's just a read aloud app. Once you set it up, save it, then check it by plugging it in too charge. See if it starts. Or you can click run on the menu to try it beforehand.
You can set as many of these as you want.

Tablets@PrivacyandSecurity Routines are very useful and powerful. Your original post made it sound like a built-in setting but I figured you either used a routine or 3rd party app.

Investigation: Media File Handling on Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
I’ve been using the Samsung Music app on my Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra for managing and playing audio files. While the device is marketed as a productivity and entertainment powerhouse, I noticed limitations in how the system handles media files. My investigation revealed the following:
1. Default Folder Scanning:
The Samsung Music app only scans specific folders like Music and ignores others like Recordings, which contain valuable non-music audio files (e.g., voice memos, podcasts).
This creates an issue for users who rely on a mix of music and non-music audio content for work and leisure.
2. Manual Workarounds:
I moved audio files into both the Music and Recordings folders, but Samsung Music still does not handle non-music files efficiently.
Files in the Recordings folder remain unscanned, while files in the Music folder are treated as traditional music files, which isn’t ideal for recordings or other non-music media.
3. Inability to Direct Playback:
There’s no option to play files directly from a specific folder in Samsung Music. The app relies solely on scanning, which excludes custom or non-standard directories.
This limitation forces users to rely on manual organization or third-party apps, reducing productivity.
---
Results: Current Limitations
1. The Samsung Music app lacks flexibility to:
Scan user-defined folders.
Differentiate between music and non-music audio content.
2. The file system design creates challenges:
Native folders like Recordings are excluded from playback options.
There is no dedicated app for managing non-music audio files, such as recordings, podcasts, or audiobooks.
---
Complaint: The Need for Enhanced Media Management
While Samsung Music works well as a default music player, it doesn’t meet the expectations of a device marketed for productivity. The absence of:
1. Folder-based playback limits its usability for professionals.
2. A dedicated non-music media app for recordings, podcasts, and audiobooks creates inefficiencies.
As a result, users are left with:
Manually moving files between folders.
Using third-party apps to achieve basic functionality that should be native to such a high-end device.
---
Suggestions for Improvement
1. Folder-Based Playback in Samsung Music:
Add an option to scan and play files from user-defined folders, such as Recordings or custom directories.
2. A Dedicated Non-Music Media App:
Create a native app for managing and playing non-music audio content, such as voice recordings, podcasts, and audiobooks.
Include features like folder organization and tagging to streamline productivity workflows.
3. Enhanced Productivity Tools:
Integrate better file handling with Samsung’s productivity ecosystem, allowing users to automate file organization or playback through Bixby Routines or similar tools.
---
Closing Thoughts
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is an impressive device, but improving media file management would make it even more versatile for professionals. I believe these enhancements would align with Samsung’s vision of creating tools that seamlessly bridge productivity and entertainment.
