The clear all button that used to be under notifications is gone

What happened to the clear all button on the drop down menu that used to be right under notifications is gone and it's so annoying to have to click on each notification just to clear it. Some can be swiped away but not all of them

I don't have access to a computer and wouldn't know how to proceed if I did

Do you have access to a tablet? Or even a TV with a USB port?

Yes i have access to a TV with a usb port. How will that help?

Go back to the instructions I posted earlier. Between step 1 and 2 is where you would plug in to the TV.

Notifications that can't be cleared with the clear button will not generate the clear button.  For all other notifications, the clear button now appears on the bottom right of the screen, not at the end of the notification list.  The location may be at the bottom of the list for tablets, but the same rule applies, if it must be swiped away, it won't generate the clear button.

Right, but the notification shown in the screenshot *should* generate the clear button. That's why I reproduced it.

I guess you would know tablets better than me, as I don't have one, and I do realize that the UI on the tablets have a slightly different structure.

If you were successful in clearing device cache in recovery, I only have two other suggestions:

1. Clear cache and data for One UI Home under settings, apps.

2. Back up all your data and factory reset.
