Is there any way to update the android version? alot of my apps won't work now. I don't have cell service on my tablet just wi-fi. Thanks

Unfortunately that tablet is no longer supported.  You can try going over to XDA-Developers.com and seeing if there is a newer 3rd party custom ROM for it.
