If a Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is connected on Verizon and tries a WebRTC call, the entire network stack will crash. This happens on Chrome and on Firefox and is a device-wide issue. If using WiFi, there is no issue. If using T-Mobile, there is also no issue.

Here's the Google Chromium bug filling, but since it happens on Firefox as well, it's a Samsung issue:

This would be a Verizon issue. The fact that it does not happen with another carrier should be your clue that it's a Verizon issue. You need to contact their support. Samsung owns neither chromium nor Firefox, so I don't know how you conclude it's a Samsung issue.

If you read the Chromium issue it details that it happens

* Regardless of carrier: (Verizon and Vodaphone which both use VoLTE)

* Regardless of manufacturer: (Google and Samsung)

* Regardless of application: (Chrome and FireFox)

It happens on devices that use the same Samsung EXYNOS modem. That means it's a Samsung issue.

It also happens on Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Samsung A33, and Galaxy Tab A 8.4.

You confirmed yourself, that it does not happen with T-Mobile only Verizon and Vodaphone, both of which disable VoLTE as a user control. Therefore, it is not a Samsung issue, it is a carrier issue. It is the way Verizon configures their software for Samsung/Android phones.

That's not how engineering bugs work. You can't just disable a feature on a device when it has bugs and consider it "fixed".

They don't disable the feature because ir has bugs. Verizon deliberately takes that settinf out of the end user's control. It is not a Ssmsung issue. Ut is a Verizon issue.

The issue is not the removal of a feature. The issue is a crash because of the Samsung modem. If you don't understand the issue, please do not reply to this post.
