Fingerprint reader on s9fe tablet was disabled by by update 6.0 , update 6.1 did not fix issue, update 6.1.1 fixed this issue however was not mentioned in patch notes .
this is why updates should not be forced on users.
i suffer from cervical radiculopathy, which is often caused by a pinched nerve in the neck. This condition can lead to symptoms such as:
• Radiating pain: Pain that starts in the neck and travels down the arm. • Numbness or tingling: Sensations that can extend from the neck down to the fingers. • Weakness: Muscle weakness in the shoulder, arm, or hand
because of this touching screens is painful and i need to keep spens ,keyboards,mouses and fingerprint readers to mitigate the pain.
im so glad the update fixed this issue, i really needed my fingerprint reader back working.
edit: after posting this later on today fingerprint reader went back to malfunctioning 😔
