Washers and DryersCLOTHES DRYER
MODEL NO. DV42H5200GW/A3
SERIAL NO. OABI5BCJB01683N
The drum in my dryer has been incrementally cracking further and further each year until recently when it simply STOPPED working altogether. This began to happen within the first year but only became noticeable when the crack grew to be more visible and began to catch on clothing. Therefore I'm looking for actual help with this DEAD Dryer - whilst also considering joining the class action lawsuit that is explicitly based on this topic and the vast number of consumers who have experienced this same problem.

Washers and Dryers
It looks like it's been 7 years since it was made. 7 years is a good time to replace your dryer, given its average lifespan of 5 years. I don't think a class action lawsuit will go anywhere. Unfortunately, in this world we live in, a 1-year warranty is all manufacturers are required to provide.
