Connect it to what? Your router? Smart things? In either case, you have to follow the setup instructions that come with it. Once it's set up, if it's smart things compatible, smart things will find it. Most smart plugs have their own app to help with connecting to your Wi-Fi network. There is usually a card in the package with a QR code to bring you to the download site for the app. If they are not connected to your Wi-Fi network, they will just be dumb plugs.
