Washers and DryersHello
I'm getting a metal clanging noise from my front load washer when the drum spins. No matter the cycle. It used to only sound when the drum began to spin, but now is almost constant. It sounds like something is between the metal drum and the plastic drum. But I'm not sure what it could be. A spacer broke loose?

Washers and DryersHello and thank you for reaching out to our Samsung community regarding the noise concern. This type of noise is typically made by metal objects rubbing against each other. In most cases, this noise is due to overloading, we recommend you immediately stop the cycle and reduce the weight of the load.
We do advise, to run a cycle with approximately 4 soaking wet bath towels (or a load with similar weight), to determine if service is required. If service is required please visit our service website here to proceed- https://www.samsung.com/us/
We do offer the Private Message option for additional communication if needed, by selecting any moderator and clicking on the chat option with your full model and serial number.

Washers and DryersThanks for the advice but the noise happens even when the tub is empty. I realized something is loose between the metal tub and the outer plastic tub. So essentially just to even diagnose what it is would require the entire washer being opened up and the plastic tub being split open. The problem I have now is that there is no certified Samsung repairmen in my area that would do warranty work. But thanks for the help.
