To further extend battery life, you can adjust settings like the screen refresh rate (though the smoothness of adaptive refresh is worth the battery hit, imo) and changing your performance profile from Standard to Light, or turn on power saving mode as needed.

Galaxy devices have an adaptive battery feature which uses machine learning to optimize battery life. The first few weeks of usage will be rough until the phone learns your usage patterns.

Yes, One UI 7 is a new version of Android. The developer has probably not updated the app to support Android 15 and they will likely need to do so before the app works again.

You will most likely need to contact the developers of the lottery app. If you look at the apps page on the Play Store, there should be a section labeled "App Support" that provides the developer's contact information.

There are often, but not always, additional opportunities to join when new betas are released. Samsung does not publicly share timelines on beta software releases, so again, no one knows.

I believe they have special equipment that ensures proper application. I would call around first to make sure your local shop offers z flip replacements. I had none in my area and had to drive a significant way.

Ubreakifix or other Samsung certified repair centers offer replacement. $20 and 10 minutes of your time last time I had it done. Samsung also offers 1 free replacement within a year of purchase, but you'll need to make a claim to do so

To wipe cache partition on galaxy watch, power the watch down by holding both side buttons simultaneously. On reboot (when the "rebooting..." screen appears) quickly double click the top (home) button to enter reboot mode menu. Choose recovery mode using buttons. Hold top button to select. Once in recovery menu, use bottom button to select wipe cache partition. Use top (home button to select.) Click yes to confirm the cache wipe, then navigate one last time and click reboot system now.

Do you have the Galaxy Wearable app installed, or are you just trying to connect via bluetooth? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.app.watchmanager

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately, it seems you have discovered the near-necessity of purchasing Care+ if you are going to daily drive a foldable. These are bleeding-edge devices that have not yet reached their ideal form factor, are by nature less durable than traditional slab phones. Had you purchased Care+, though you would have had to pay monthly, you could have filed a claim and received a much cheaper repair.

I dont really get the dense setups with tons of icons. Wouldn't call them simple or minimal, but you do you! One UI 7 has really changed the way I do home screens. I always used to keep it super minimal — 4 apps in the dock, Google search bar, weather widget, nothing else. Now, I love having a single page full of the playful, quirky, new widgets.

OP, I agree that the "Liquid Glass" aesthetic is quite nice. The fact is, iOS is becoming more open and more customizable... and sadly, having a consistent universal design language with multiple cohesive icon options is more than I can say for the current state of One UI. I really, really hope Samsung sees the need to compete in this area and does so!

Would be nice if they added the ability to hide only on the home screen. Clock widgets dont make a whole lot of sense with the time already in the status bar, but it's nice to have the time there inside of apps!

These are tapbacks, not just emoji. As other users have stated, Google Messages interprets these correctly, Samsung messages does not. Switching to Google Message will also give you the other benefits of RCS, with both Android and iOS users... typing indicators, read receipts, etc.

They definitely have their hands full. Lots of new accounts with no post/comment history popping up just to post nonsense about 7.0. Makes me wonder how many of them are real people with actual complaints, tbh. Nevertheless, there does need to be more distinction drawn between types of posts. Pinning helpful posts would be great to see, as well.

Nope. Any phone with a sub-5000 mah battery is a no-go moving forward. 6000+ is already becoming the standard in Chinese phones. I've made the mistake of trading battery for form factor before...had a z flip 5 — amazing phone, miserable, life-hindering battery. Never again.

One UI is Samsung's version of Android. If you have owned a Samsung phone made after 2019, you have been using One UI. There was a recent update that changed a few things. These kinds of posts (variations of the same complaints over and over again) aren't particularly helpful or useful, but simply deleting them would be a bad look. Consolidating into a megathread is a middle of the road response that cleans up the clutter without censoring negative opinions.
