Buy direct, buy outright, buy unlocked. A phone purchased from your carrier will never fully be YOUR phone. They will always push junk apps.

Is it the "Global Goals" app, perhaps? If so, here is the official Samsung guide for removing those: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003382/ If this is still not what you are experiencing... did you buy your phone from a carrier at a subsidized price? Carriers sometimes sell phones at a loss and then run ads on them to make up the difference. If your phone is a carrier-locked, subsidized device, it is possible that your carrier bundled these intrusive ads in an update. There may be a carrier-specific app that can be uninstalled or disabled to stop the ads. Again, Nice Catch can help you identify this. For reasons like this, it is highly recommended to buy unlocked phones directly from the manufacturer.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "News at the bottom." Are you referring to the Now Bar? The Now Bar can be disabled in Settings if you don't like it. As for notifications, the default notification style has been changed. You can change the appearance of lock screen notifications by going to Settings > Notifications > Lock Screen Notifications. The "Cards" setting shows notification details on the lock screen without expanding the panel. If you are not referring to the Now Bar, and you are instead saying that you are getting intrusive pop-ups that prevent you from using your device normally, there is likely a malicious app installed on your device. Samsung's Nice Catch App can help you locate the offending app. https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.samsung.android.app.goodcatch Turn on "detect commercials" and "toast history" and wait for the pop up to occur. Nice catch will tell you what the offending app is so you can delete it.

Galaxy phones and Pixels both take great photos, and you can't really go wrong in that department. Galaxy takes more vibrant photos with colors ramped up, pixel tends to produce softer photos and strives more for color realism. If a stylus is a must, Ultras are your only real remaining option. S24U is the last to retain all Bluetooth features... wouldn't expect to see them return in future generations, imo.

As far as I know, there is no way to revert to the legacy charging sound. You can, however, choose from some different system sounds by changing the system sound theme.

I personally keep the adaptive refresh rate turned on and use a routine to turn on power saving when my battery falls below 15%. I only use power saving when my battery is low. No point in a big beautiful display if you don't use it to its full potential!

As a side note, power saving will disable the adaptive refresh rate, so your display will not look quite as smooth when power saving is on. If you are coming from a non-pro iPhone, you probably won't notice this as base model iPhones do not have high refresh displays.

To further extend battery life, you can adjust settings like the screen refresh rate (though the smoothness of adaptive refresh is worth the battery hit, imo) and changing your performance profile from Standard to Light, or turn on power saving mode as needed.

Yes, One UI 7 is a new version of Android. The developer has probably not updated the app to support Android 15 and they will likely need to do so before the app works again.

You will most likely need to contact the developers of the lottery app. If you look at the apps page on the Play Store, there should be a section labeled "App Support" that provides the developer's contact information.

To wipe cache partition on galaxy watch, power the watch down by holding both side buttons simultaneously. On reboot (when the "rebooting..." screen appears) quickly double click the top (home) button to enter reboot mode menu. Choose recovery mode using buttons. Hold top button to select. Once in recovery menu, use bottom button to select wipe cache partition. Use top (home button to select.) Click yes to confirm the cache wipe, then navigate one last time and click reboot system now.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately, it seems you have discovered the near-necessity of purchasing Care+ if you are going to daily drive a foldable. These are bleeding-edge devices that have not yet reached their ideal form factor, are by nature less durable than traditional slab phones. Had you purchased Care+, though you would have had to pay monthly, you could have filed a claim and received a much cheaper repair.
