55KS8000 Blue Lines at Startup

Hello,

 

We bought this TV in November of 2016 and had no issues until recently when the picture dimmed and came back to the following screen.  Sound seems to work ok, however I cannot get the display to change regardless of input.  We have multiple Samsung devices (a 10+ year old LCD TV that is still kicking!) that have given us little problems over the years until this TV.

The unit was purchased from Best Buy on 11/25/16 and I still have the receipt.  Is there a fix to this issue ?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear that, if this occurs on all sources and during the picture test this will require service, you have a couple of options based on your warranty. 

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up. 
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

looks like a nice wall paper!!. You might have component failure on the motherboard. look into getting it serviced. they don't make them like they used too!
