Just got the A35 5G.  I want to get more apps on each screen but when I press and hold in a blank area and then touch settings, there's no place to make that adjustment as shown on all sorts of Youtube videos.  Any thoughts?  Thanks!

Go onto settings/home screen and adjust the grid size. If you want more options, download Good Lock from the Galaxy store and the home up module and you can expand the grid up to 6x6 and the favorites bar up to 7. You can also adjust the screen zoom which will give you more space.

Thank you, Realud.  I wish it was that easy.  Grid size is not showing up anywhere on the home screen setting page.  I did a search there as well and nothing came up.  Hopefully I won't need to download a special app for such a basic function.  I'm used to Pixel phones and didn't realize how different the Samsung environment would be.

You shouldnt have to download a special app unless you want the extra squidge more than the basic settings allow. Good Lock and its modules are official Samsung customization apps that allow you to give your device a liitle something extra from the basic settings. The image I supplied is of the basic settings, which can be found in settings/home screen. It is possible that the A35 doesn't support adjustment of the grid, but it should.1736809639608.jpg
