I haven't seen this problem yet. Several app icons have disappeared from my GalaxyA14, both from the home screen and the apps screens. They are still installed, and I can access them through the play store, but can't access them directly from the phone. Just bought the phone 2 days ago. Hope someone can help.
I noticed this on my phone, and I pressed the edge panel, and a game appeared that I couldn't see without going into the gaming hub. The app will appear translucent, and you can't delete it without the gaming hub. At least for me, it was that way.
