I live in Colorado for almost 5 years now, my address didn't change. And every time I wanted to use the browser it only gave me directions from Texas. I don't live in Texas.
You need to calibrate the phone's compass. Also, some websites default to directions in their home location. if you have certain privacy settings enabled in your browser, the location will also act weirdly.
