If you go into advanced features in settings, you can make turn on one-handed mode, which makes your screen shrink, which is easier for one hand typing, or just overall. There is also an option to change what the side button does if you double press. I changed it to turn on my flashlight and it is really helpful.

I don't personally use it but I do believe it is a highly under used feature for people with smaller hands.
