I’m new to having an A15 phone, have been scavenging through Reddit and Samsung articles, and all through the community here. I’ve been wanting to see “read” or something similar under my messages, is there any way how? My phone is 5G by the way, if that is useful at all.

Edit: I am using the default “Messages” app it comes with, as most of my family does not use anything else. I also have a certain carrier that I tagged in that could be useful. I have now downloaded Google messages, to understand how to fix this on default, I am not sure

Make sure you're using Google/android messages>go to the portrait in the top right corner>messages message settings>RCS chats> make sure turn rcs chats on is turned on and says your phone number in green. Then it's all about the other powered having rcs on a well

Thank you, I did not have that version of messages before, but I downloaded it and it was useful.
