How to trim a video on my a52?

How do I trim a video on my a52?  I know where to find the option. I just don't understand what I actually need to do.  I don't want to lose the original video. Thank you, Lori

@puzzled081321 In the edit window, see the white blocks on each end?

• If you move the one the left to the right, it shortens the video by trimming the front.
• If you move the one on the right to the left, it shortens the video by trimming the end. 

After you have it the way you want, select Save. It will save it to a new file. Your original video file will remain in the gallery.
