Mirror/casting not working on my phone. Help!

Is it possible for you to use a complete sentence to describe what is happening?  Which model phone do you have?  Does it support smart view?  Does the device you want to cast to support casting?

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I understand your concerns with the Smart View feature not working properly. 

Smart View can be used with Galaxy phones and tablets running Android 4.3 or above and with devices that support Miracast wireless display technology. Your phone must be connected to the same network as your TV in order to use this feature. If Smart View is not working, restarting or rebooting your device will usually solve the issue. Keep in mind that DRM-protected contents cannot be mirrored.

Hello, I'm having problems connecting to my phone (miracast is on Xbox one). It used to connect no problem, then one day a few weeks ago it just wouldn't connect. I've tried deleting the app and re-installing, soft/hard reboot, updates seem to be in order for everything. On the phone side I've tried clearing cache/memory and restarting ~ still nothing.
I can't find any answers. Any help would be appreciated
