My files app music not playing in background

I have reformatted my sd card even with the music on my phone storage it's still not working I gave my files app all permissions it's still not working this started when I got andriod 12 it was working with andriod 11 pls help the music stops as soon as I leave the app then when I come back it was paused help

My Files isn't designed as a music player app. Use Samsung Music.

Then you'll need another music player. VLC works well.
