New system update broke swype and auto predict and auto correct on my keyboard

Hello i am wondering how to fix this. After doing a system update yesterday my phone no longer does swype. The settings show its active and i see the blue line following my finger from letter to letter vut it doesnt create words. Also my auto correct no longer works. Nor does auto predict. No words get generated any more, nothing! This is awful. Even writing this question took a lot longer without the auto correct working properly. Please help!!

@ufoley23 Are you using the Samsung keyboard or the Swype keyboard (not a Samsung product)?

If you are using the Samsung keyboard, try this:

1. Open phone settings and click on General management
2. Click on Samsung Keyboard settings 
3. Click on Swipe, touch, and feedback
4. Click on Keyboard swipe controls and ensure that "Swipe to type" is enabled.

Also settings for Predictive text and Auto replace are in the same settings -> General management -> Samsung keyboard settings area.

All that stuff is enabled. What finally worked for me was downloading the English language again under the Samsung keyboard language and type and it solved my problems. Thank you though
