No Equalizer on Galaxy A14 5G?

When I watch tutorials online I see that there are quite a few EQ settings that seem to be missing from my phone. In the Sound quality and effects section, istead of sliders and customization options, the only options I see are the Dolby Atmos on/off toggles. I even managed to successfully install Sound Assistant through apkmirror, but I noticed that none of the changes I made to the EQ seemed to affect the sound of the music playing. I'm wondering if the hardware on my phone simply doesn't support EQ settings? That seems very unlikely to me, so I hope there's something I'm missing. I want my bass boost...

I can't believe I'm sitting here in 2023 on an alleged 2021 phon.e  no equalizer in my sound settings. This phone is so out of date with updates . It just randomly drops volume during phone back audio play or even through casting. There should b a standard on features that make it a "smartphone" and equalizer should b the most basic of them all.

You're not the only one. My A03s 2021 has the Atmos but it's shaded out and u usable. I can't believe they don have that as a basic feature. What a trashk compnee. I can't even download that sounassistant because I don't have the most recent update or sumn. I can't fragin believe this farcical thing they call a smartphone. I'm fragin pisssded

I just got a new "unlocked" Samsung Galaxy A14 5G directly from Samsung. It does not have an built in Equalizer.  My previous phone, Samsung A13 4G has built in Equalizer.  You would think an upgraded phone would have same features. Very disappointed.

I tried Flat Equalizer and Wavelet.  I don't care for either of them.  The music sounds flat.  My Galaxy A13 has way better sound.  I'm so disappointed.

I'm using Flat Equalizer - Bass Booster by jApp and I get great depth and bass. It does everything I need!

I downloaded Equalizer Bass Booster and it works the best of all 3 I've tried. Still sucks that Samsung took the EQ feature out of the A14 when it was in the A13 model.

Well I have the same problem and almost the same story as you, I also upgraded from 13 5G to A14 5G, and I used my old J7 Prime 2017 which has a feature called, tube amp pro as well as surround sound with all the goodness of EQ settings and I have to say nothing can compare those features to any 3rd party app I just wanted to mention that you can get this phone for cheap on eBay for like 20$ on good conditions 😀
