Persistant voicemail notification with no voicemail

Deleted all voicemails.  Have done all the recommended steps for removing

the Icon, yet its still there, constantly showing I have a voicemail when I dont.  I even tried calling my phone as recommended to leave myself a voicemail but that goes to my voicemail as if I called the mailbox.

Use a different phone and leave your self a voicemail, use Google Voice if you have to

Tried that one also.  Still there.  It did go away with another phone app, but I didnt like the app.  As soon as I deleted the new app, it returned.

What about deleting data for the phone app, just make sure your contacts are backed up just in case

I did a data delete, tried to find other phone apps but none.  Im not willing to try the total data dump yet, but if I can save my contacts, ill try that next.

Ok I misspoke, I cleared Cache, had not cleared data.  I saved my contacts to my SD and cleared app data.  Waiting for phone to restart now.

Welp clearing data did nothing except clear all the texts I was saving, the stupid thing is back.
