Samsung A32g Voice mail indicator Missing

I HAVE A NEW SAMSUNG A32G 5G   PHONE  and   with tmobile pcs.     How do I get a the voice mail  indicator (little tape recorder) thing that shows that I have voice mail messages?   

   I dont see it anywhere in my phone and there are limited apps to start with on this  phone so would see it if it was there.      HOWEVER, I can check my voices messages by press the 1 button, but every phone I have ever had had a little voice mail indicator  that show if I had a voice mail and how many.
