I bought my Samsung A34 in 2023. and was using a 25 watt samsung charger with the c-type cable that came with the phone. Now the phone is not charging up, checked the charger and cable it is charging other device but the phone is not getting charged, tried to charge with a laptop, but still not able to charge.

the phone is showing a temperature icon on the shutdown screen.

What is the issue here? and can it be resolved. when i searched online this has been reported in older phones as well. Seems like the team at samsung does not care about this issue.

Is that the error message from the phone diagnostic?  You may have to have it evaluated at a service location.  How did you contact Samsung support, by phone?  If you go to the support tab on the members app, you can put in an error report or get text help.  However, if your battery is low and you can't charge it, I don't know how much time you have left for that option.

i contacted them over chat and phone call, even used smart tutor. but they did some basic reset. Their tech team is not capable enough to understand the issue

Sounds like an overheating problem.  Have you run the diagnostic tool on the phone to make sure the charging port is working?  Settings/device care/diagnostics.  Of course, you can only do this is the phone still has power.  Also, download Good Guardians/Thermal Guardian from the Galaxy store and you can check if your phone is overheating and what caused it.  However, it does look like you may have a bad port.

hi, the issue is not overheating, as per the error message, the phones temperature is too low. i tried to  verify this information with samsung support but the samsung support was of no help at all.
