Samsung A54 - naming photos with date

I used to have a Samsung 6 and when I took photos, it would have the date the photo was  taken in the name. For example, I have one photo named 20180821_083742. This let me know the photo was taken on  08-21-2018.   When I take a photo with my new A54, it gets named like this - -8948194515741875166. Is there any way to change a setting so the photos will have the date in the name?

Thanks for the replies! I have learned a little more about my camera. Finally, I went and reset it and everything seems to be working right again. Thanks!

@RomanJ That isn't normal. Have you tried resetting the Camera settings?

Open the Camera app -> click on the gear icon -> click on Reset settings

Go into your Gallery
Select a photo, wipe up , tap edit, and tap the picture file name and change it. 1718847664979.jpg1718847665044.jpg

That shouldn't happen. I have the Same phone as you and it doesn't happen with mines.

Are you taking pictures with your stock camera?

This is a good question, we need more insight on what is being used to take pictures and how.
