Samsung Find App Won't Open / Family Location

The Samsung Find App won't open on my son's new phone (A15 5G). It starts to open but then immediately closes with no error message. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling it and rebooting the phone. I am wondering if it has something to do with his Samsung account being for a minor, and he phone is supervised by me - but I've tried to adjust parental controls to allow the Find app and nothing seems to work.  My goal is to access the Find app on my son's phone, so that I can set it to share his location with my phone using the "Find family members" feature.

We did notice under the Find People section that the feature is not available at this time.
