We need an option to report spam calls so spam blocker can work properly. A way to inform Samsung about numbers they need to block from calling us. Even private numbers you can not block should have a way to keep them from bugging you.

No fooling I've had the same problem. I don't know if it's a Samsung fix or your carrier

If you use Google Phone you can block calls and report spam and, depending on your carrier, you can do so as well in the Samsung Phone app.

Unfortunately most carriers do not provide this option. My point was that Samsung could do something about it, but they don't or won't!

I don't think that they can, which is my point. And why should they, when everyone has access to Google Phone, which does.

Most carriers offer their own spam call blocking sevices, some of which you pay for. For instance, At&t offers active armor service, which is excellent at blocking spam and unwanted calls. Check your phone app settings to block unknown / private numbers, most have that option to enable from the carrier.

There is a reporting feature. In your call log, tap the number you want to report, tap the onfo bubble on the far right. On the bottom of the screen is the report frature. It will report the call to hiya and block the number. Be aware, though that those blocked calls will go directly to voicemail, so you eill likely het some robo-mrddages. Using your carrier tools in your carrier's app, should prevent the calls from even getting through to your VM. This may cause you to miss important calls from entities not in your contacts.
