From what I have read T- Mobile plans to introduce 5.5G , 5G-A or 5G- Advanced supposedly around May 31 2025. Any rational thoughts on this.

T-Mobile's 5.5G network is called 5G-Advanced (5G-A). It's an upgrade to existing 5G networks that promises faster speeds, better energy efficiency, and improved positioning. 

What to expect from 5.5G?

• Faster speeds: 5.5G could offer download speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second (Gbps), which is much faster than the 1 Gbps speeds of traditional 5G. 
• Improved energy efficiency: 5.5G could use less energy for cellular base stations and mobile devices. 
• Better positioning: 5.5G could offer high-precision positioning. 
• Improved massive MIMO capabilities: 5.5G could offer improved massive MIMO capabilities. 

What devices will support 5.5G? 

• Newer phones with Snapdragon X75, X72, or X80 modems may be compatible with 5.5G.
• These phones will also need the right RF antenna hardware and licenses.
