Why won't Spotify Media Control show up on my lock screen?

Why won't Spotify Media Control show up on my lock screen? I have to fully unlock the phone to change the song. My old phone would put it on the lock screen.

Check to make sure you done have call forwarding or send directly to voice-mail on. You should be able to google your carrier and what numbers to dial to turn of those features if they are on

Go to Settings >> Lock screen >> widgets >> makw sure that the music is toggled on

Thanks yes I have that turned on already and it still won't show up.

Are you using LockStar by any chance?

Might want to check Settings >> Apps >> Spotify >> Notifications >> Notification categories >> make sure that at least "Playback" is turned on
