After the BIOS update that was pushed out, Windows can no longer find the battery. That means it no longer shows up on the task bar, the battery settings, the about device settings, or a battery report through the terminal. That means I can no longer check to see how much battery I have while I am working, until the machine dies. As far as the OS is concerned there is no battery installed in the laptop. Yet if I use apps like Battery Meter to check the battery it will say I have no battery installed, but my battery is 255%. I have seen others reporting similarly on Reddit.

ComputersWe're having the EXACT same issue with our Galaxy Book4 Edge 16" with the battery indicator disappearing in Win11... as well as the USB-C ports no longer recognizing the dock for our dual monitors. I'm pretty tech savvy, but spent all morning and way too long this afternoon trying to figure it out and fix it (while I was SUPPOSED to be working remotely)... all because my wife couldn't work remotely with our laptop not functioning correctly. Very frustrating, considering the cost of this laptop. It really needs to be fixed ASAP!

ComputersHey All,
I've found a semi-fix for this.
It seems that force installing the old-er drivers and disabling one of the drivers does work. I have no idea the long term effects of this, but it does make my USB C devices, and battery show up.
I was able to get things working by download the Driver Pack from the website: Samsung Galaxy Books Download Center | United States/English (The WIndows 11 ones, not the PE ones).
I then had to modify the script it includes to work on Windows 11 ARM. You can find my script here. You'll need to plop this code into a .bat file and run as Admin from WITHIN the driver folder after extracting.
```
@Echo off
rem Detect system model using PowerShell (WMIC is deprecated)
for /f "tokens=*" %%m in ('powershell -Command "(Get-CimInstance -ClassName Win32_ComputerSystem).Model"') do set "model=%%m"
echo Detected model: %model%
rem Install drivers using pnputil (DISM is not supported on ARM64)
echo Installing drivers using pnputil...
pushd %~dp0
pnputil.exe /add-driver *.inf /subdirs
rem Add driver version to registry
if exist Version.txt (
set /p VersionString=< Version.txt
reg add HKLM\Software\Samsung /f /v DriverPackageVersion /t REG_SZ /d "%VersionString%"
) else (
echo Version.txt not found. Skipping registry update.
)
popd
exit /b
```
It's a little rough and dirty, but it did work for me. It seems to be persisting past reboot and Windows Updates. I would recommend disabling Driver Update in WIndows Update settings if you can.

ComputersThere is a more sensible solution in the different pages that doesn't persist after reboot, but it's much more quicker an easier to do.
And it doesn't require a "semi permanent" mod, that then needs to be removed if the fix arrives.
But, still thank you for the support. ❤️

ComputersIt always is a driver issue in these Qualcomm devices, for how long i do remember they never figured out the proper recipe for good drivers or software and even hardware some times....

ComputersAny slam-dunk updates or fixes on this as it still persists and no battery icon! Tried all the obvious but non techy so darent start fiddling with drivers and .bat files that seem to have a fix.
