ComputersHi all. I purchased a Galaxy Book 3 360 for my father yesterday, but when I got home and opened the box, I found that it was severely dented and the screen badly cracked. I went back to the store today expecting to receive a replacement with no problem, but the store manager claimed that since the box itself was undamaged (only the laptop was damaged), they couldn't replace it. They told me to contact Samsung Corporate myself to resolve it.
Which I found to be absolutely ridiculous. I paid for this laptop, and I can't get it replaced or even refunded by the store I bought it at? Never mind that, even when I called Samsung Corporate, all they said was to take it to a local technician to get it checked out. Am I missing something here? Why is it that I have to bear all the responsibility of fixing/replacing a laptop that CAME DAMAGED? You're telling me that I have to either pay ~$300+ to repair the damage that I didn't even cause, buy a brand new laptop, or just do nothing and throw $1000+ down the drain?
Does anyone have a similar experience or advice that could help me resolve this? Thanks yall.
