The Fold 5 will be better than the S22U it will have better performance since its newer but I would suggest waiting for the S25U which comes out in Jan or Feb.

I been hearing about the line in the middle of the screen on the fold

You really don't notice it after a few days of use my parents both have the Fold 5 and they love them my mom lets my nephew watch youtube and stuff on hers and she never says anything bad about the crease in the middle

@PatsySon Had the Fold 5 and traded it for the 6. Fold 5 worked great and I don't miss the candy bar style phone. The Fold 5 has better performance than the S22 Ultra.
