Just recently recived an update on my Zfilp 4.  It looks like the July 1 2024 update.  I seem to be getting a lot more battery drain than i expected.

Anyone else having this issue?

Hello eatonjb, Welcome and thanks for being part of the Community. We understand how frustrating battery drain is.

Some things that can help with Battery optimization, if you're just having a battery draining issue, is the following: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001388/

We also recommend clearing the cache partition from the recovery menu. To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.

If you've tried troubleshooting above, when it comes to problems with exorbitant drain to the battery, repairs would be recommended. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For international customers, please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html
