Play Books not connecting

Hi all--

I just switched over to samsung from iphone and I am having trouble using the Google play books app. I have 2 books downloaded from the internet on there but the app won't allow me to search or browse any books to purchase or view etc. It only says "We can't connect" and tells me I have an issue with my wifi/data connection but I've double checked and it works just fine on everything else. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing cache and data, and restarting my phone to no avail. What can I do about this?

I have a Z Flip 6 if that is relevant.

When the problem occurs again, open the Members app and select Support on the bottom right and open diagnostics and run the test for Wi-Fi. If any problems are found, you can create an error report there too and submit it to Samsung tech support.

Thank you for responding. I just tried this, but there are no issues with the WiFi. Not sure where to go from here

You should go back to the Books app at the PlayStore and look for any link providing tech support or a developer contact option. The app developer might be able to assist you with this problem since it's only occurring with the one app and otherwise, your phone is working fine. The diagnostics you just ran, confirmed this. Good luck, hopefully, you will soon get this problem resolved.
