Samsung Keyboard - Split Keyboard

I find it bizarre that Samsung didn't breakout the Main Screen into portrait and landscape like they did for the Cover Screen. I also wish they would give us the option to even out the button layout for the Split Keyboard like Gboard does.

Since the main screen is almost square, I'm sure that they felt having separate orientation selections for keyboard was unnecessary.

Seems like it would be more necessary and useful as an option on the Main Screen than it ever would be for the Cover Screen. I don't know. It just seems backward.
