Hey everyone, I just wanted to post about an issue I just ran into with my pre-ordered Z Fold 4 and ask if anyone else has had this issue. I took my phone off of the wireless charger a few moments ago and unfolded it, and upon doing so heard a noise coming from the glass. I was then met with an unfolded screen that was split into two by a large, thick, black line running straight down the middle of the screen. The inner screen is now unusable, as the touchscreen is unresponsive, but interestingly enough is otherwise still in perfect condition. The colors are normal, there is zero damage to the screen (ie. glass is not shattered or scratched), but there's just this massive thick line running down the middle. The cover screen is otherwise working flawlessly, so thankfully my phone is not an expensive brick or anything. For further clarification, this phone hasn't been mistreated in any way; I have not dropped it, scuffed it, scratched it, as it has remained in its official  Samsung case from the moment I unboxed it. This phone is without a doubt the best hardware product I have ever purchased, the software and the design of the hardware is incredible. However, the fact that it has seemingly failed a month into use is incredibly upsetting to me and I am now concerned that trying to get it fixed through Customer Support may be a nightmare in the making. Just wanted to post about my issue and see if anyone else is suffering from the same issue, thanks everyone.

I've had my Z Fold 4 for 2 months now. Bought the Samsung Fold Edition Case w/ S Pen day one as well. I charge my phone with the super fast charge brick and cable every night in bed. Zero issues. I also am super OCD about the fingerprint magnet of a phone this is and use lens cleaner and microfiber cloth multiple times a day to keep it looking brand new. I make sure there's no dust or fibers anywhere near the hinges even though I'm probably overly cautious to an unnecessary extent. The only issues I've ever read about these phones with people having the same issue as you they all had one thing in common: they removed the factory screen protector. Hopefully you didn't do this. I truly find it hard to believe something didn't happen to it, whether in your pocket or elsewhere, but I'll reserve judgment til you update us after contacting support Good luck. It's been my favorite phone in MANY years as someone who upgrades every year.

I also just noticed that's not the Samsung Edition Fold Case you're using. What Case is that?
