Yep, it will... but honestly, the best way to get the newest firmware is to flash it to your phone anyways and kiss the warranty bye bye. Did you buy the phone recently? Because if not then you haven't much warranty left to worry about buddy!! Just be very careful and diligent when you root with Odin or Magisk or whatever... you Can brick your device very easily or send it into a bootloop and watch it do restarts forever and ever...

I can only speak if you're in the US, but yes rooting will void warranty here. But also good luck trying to root a phone with an locked bootloader
