I mean, technically, the AirPods have a superior form factor over the bean. This is because with wireless earbuds, the more room/internal real estate the buds have the better they can be. Bigger drivers can be had, bigger batteries, larger PCB's with more powerful chips etc...So Samsung is hopefully going to make a killer set of buds from these. If they end up being incremental over the 2 Pro then I'm calling horse doo and saying Samsung is copying Apple. However if they do take advantage of the increase of internal volume and actually give us a physical reason why they went this route, I will accept it and just live with the fact I look like I'm wearing a pair of knockoff AirPods Pro's. It all comes down to what Samsung puts inside of these Buds. I don't care for the light strip on each bud, again I am in love with the invisible aesthetic of the buds that are bean style and buds 2 Pro are all around my favorite earbud ever. I guess we'll wait and see. Apparently someone was able to walk into Walmart and literally buy Buds 3 pro's today ... He posted a Reddit thread with proof and everything. He said they were $250 plus tax they were brushed aluminum and he says they are about equivalent to the AirPods Pro gen 1 in terms of ANC and sound quality was also very good. It sounded unimpressive tbh. I think the Galaxy buds 2 Pro with comply foam tips already beat AirPods Pro Gen 1 with ANC so I'm really hoping this guy got scammed and or was trolling but he did have pictures and showed the linking process to his z flip 3 showing Galaxy wearables app recognizing them as buds 3 Pro. That can be faked but definitely would take a lot of effort.
I really hope they come out with a buds 3 classic or something where they keep the bean shape and give them a slight increase in spec over in the buds 2 pro. That or buds 3 FE still being bean shape.
What kinda a **bleep** is that design Buds 3. I have all the buds pro and live looking good and working good. What **bleep** is the buds 3. You're Samsung not Apple. That's why I buy Samsung if I wanted to buy Apple looking earphones I buy Apple I don't buy a copy of a original product. And the watch what's up with that is goi g square now. You had the best design on watches and personally I prefer the watch 3 design. More classic watch design. Samsung straigh your act your designs. You're loosing it. Not an upgrade this time I stick with the buds2 pro and watch 3 & 6. Sorry but your designs starts looking like **bleep** and bad copy
Patrick Chomet, Samsung VP of customer experience, when asked about the design change said "I don't care. Is it good for the customer experience" He basically says it's usability and what works over what it looks like, saying Apple got the engineering and the design right in the beginning. I agree, I buy what works best not based on what it looks like. And I frickin hate Apple.

The high ends they don't look nothing like apple. They have their own looks. Samsung just copying loosing it's touch. Nothing but BS excuses trying to justify. Good thing they're other higher end earphones thar they don't look like sh...t apple. Time to switch and that goes fir the watch too. Not my lost don't have to be in the samsung ecosystem just use the phone for right now and my older samsung wearable and upgrade to higher end wearable
