When using the sound presets in the wearable app, the volume is louder than the custom option but the down side is that the audio pops. When using the custom sound profile, the overall volume is lower and the volume gets louder right before you reach the max volume. If you go back and forth from max and just below max you can hear the volume increase with one click below max, and volume slightly decrease at max. I am currently using the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Hi SCRAMJONES, Thanks for being part of the Community. We understand the concern with the difference in audio, as well as the popping sound.

Are you using the Active Noise Cancelling feature with the earbuds?

a. Open the Wear / Wearable app
b. Under “noise controls,” slide buds icon to the left to Active Noise Cancelling
