I, like so many others, am having severe issues with my ears after wearing my Buds Pro. I awoke this morning at 3:30 with very wet ears. They also are very itchy.

This is the second time this has happened. The first time I had the same symptoms. But, after my ears began to heal, the flaking and extreme itching began. I noticed it began not long after wearing them. I discontinued use.

Last night, I wanted to try again. I wiped down the silicone tips with alcohol. I wore them for roughly 10 minutes and here we are. Wide awake on a work day with awful symptoms.

I own multiple Samsung devices. My televisions (2), 4K UHD Bluray, sound bar and surround sound, phones, tablets and I just bought the Galaxy Book Go. I love that I can connect everything. Needless to say, I am disappointed in the Buds.

What can be done to make this right? Thank you.

Hello,

I just got the Galaxy Buds Pro, they seem to be causing an allergic reaction in my ear. Has anyone else had this issue? If so what can be done to keep it from happening?

What are the earbuds tips made from? I believe it's the tip of the buds that are causing the problem, not bulk of the speaker housing.

I noticed the tips causing what felt like a burning sensation in my ear. I believe the cause is the buds slowly sliding out while the tips try to hold them in. I tried the smaller tips and those caused less to no irritation.

It happens with me too!
First starts with Galaxy Buds. After 5 months of intensive use (5h a day for 5/7 days), suddenly my ears started to get wet and inflamed! Then dry skin patches appeared. I stopped using them for about 10 days, the symptoms disappeared. I started using Buds again, then the symptoms reappeared :(!
As a result, I sold Buds and bought Buds +. They had the same problem. The same thing happens with Buds Live and Hu_awei FreeBuds3 ...!

I found in the Apple forum that this phenomenon is often observed by their buds ...!
There are ~700 users with a similar problem ((

No issues here. I found them extremely comfortable for long wear. First I heard of any reactions.

Same for me, just with the Buds Pro though.

Owned the Buds Plus and Original Buds and used them constantly without issues.

has replacing the tips with foam tips made a difference for anyone?
