The new Android Update is full of bugs. The most annoying one is that when I'm on Do Not Disturb mode using my Samsung Live Buds, if I receive a call, the volume shoots up to 100% but sounds lower quality. So whatever I'm currently listening to sounds sharp at 100%.

Very annoying, I've tried most basic settings. Any insight as to how I can fix this?

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with the Do Not disturb, not functioning as expected and I would be happy to look into this further for you. Studying the night before an exam? A distraction is the last thing you need. Don’t let anything pull your focus with Do not disturb. It mutes all alerts on your phone when you really need some peace and quiet. You can also set Do not disturb to turn on or off automatically at scheduled times. Of course, you can always set certain alerts as exceptions, so you don’t miss an important call. Give the set exceptions option a try to resolve the symptoms you are experiencing: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077281/

The next step would be trying to clear the cache partition on your device.

If you have tried the troubleshooting steps and are still experiencing these symptoms, I would recommend a service repair. Please feel free to reach out to us directly via one of the following options and include a link to this thread.

For those having bug issues after updating to One UI 5.0 (Android 13), if you haven't already done so, please try to clear the phone cache and run the repair apps option thru recovery mode.

To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.

**I personally do this 3 times**

- Run the repair apps option and your device will restart.

This usually fixes bugs after updates. NOT GUARANTEED, but worth trying!

LMK if this has helped you!

I'm listening to music on YouTube music and when I get a call it lowers my volume down until the call goes away so what's the point of "do not disturb"??
