Why wont galaxybuds answer or hang up whatsapp calls?

When I try to answer a whatsapp, duo or any 3rd party calling app with bluetooth earbuds, it always disconnects them rather than answering. Regular phone calls work just fine so I don't understand why it doesn't work on other apps.

I've had three pairs of Galaxy Buds. ALL THREE PAIRS crapped out within a year. I will never purchase Galaxy Buds again.

I'm guessing this is because of WhatsApp more than because of the Buds, but it is very annoying either way

With andriod 13 one UI5 it works perfectly now. It was a software issue
