Gestures instead of navigation

So I updated to 6.1 on my fold today. I noticed there is NO way to get rid of that annoying bar unless you're using navigation buttons instead of gestures in place of the navigation buttons. 

Is there a way to get rid of it's presence if you're using gestures instead of navigation buttons? It's really annoying.

If you download the newest version of Navstar you can toggle off the show hints

It minimalyzed and made it a lot smaller but not completely go away...I'll keep trying

It looks you're using buttons for navigation, if I'm correct. I use gestures

Ok, I don't know why it's not working for me. I'm using a third party launcher (Nova) and I thought that might be the problem. But, it isn't. I'll just have to revisit this again later. Thanks for your help.
