I have a Note8 and when I am in my Prius with my phone UNCONNECTED my phone is constantly interrupting my work with this popup message: Bluetooth pairing request

Pair with Toyota Prius?

I reset my Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings on my phone but it still pops up every few seconds.

Help! This is so annoying!

Sounds more like the Prius forgets its connected and wants to keep trying. Sounds more like a UConnect issue. Try unpairing your phone, deleting it from the car and then pairing it again.

My phone is also unpaired with my Prius. This doesn't happen in my Ford.

Well, apparently your prius wants to be connected to your phone. If you dont want it to connect to your car (and I don't understand ehy you wouldn't), then turn off BT on your phone when you get into the car. I am not sure if you can turn off the car's BT, but you can check the settings. It doesn't happen in your Ford bevause I do not believe Ford's have Uconnect.

I have tried to turn off my car's BT but still haven't figured out how. When I make audio/phone adjustments in the car I must pull over and put my car in park (not kidding) then remove my phone from the panel of possible phones. It won't work if the car is in drive. Of course, I must reverse all that when I need to connect it next.

As fun as paying federal taxes...

Why don't you just pair the phone to the car and let it connect when you get in the car?  There is no downside to keeping the phone connected while in the car and the upside is you will not continue to get pairing requests. You will also be a safer driver by not holding your phone in your hand while taking or making a call.
