Samsung advertised that it supported wifi six/wi-fi 6 on their phones from the very beginning , yet fails continuously to offer that update to make it work. I have a copy of samsungs website stating this.

Galaxy Note PhonesHello Smheydorn, Welcome to the Community. We understand how frustrating it is when you are unable to connect to Wi-Fi.
We have tested the Note 20 Ultra 5G and are able to connect to the Wi-Fi 6 with no issues.
We recommend trying the troubleshooting here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001559/
You may also need to reach out to your Wi-Fi service provider or router manufacturer for additional assistance.
If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
For international customers, please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html
