Message app keeps opening up after I close it

Hello, today all of a sudden my Samsung message app keeps opening up even after I force it closed and took off notification. I have restarted the phone and it still keeps coming on while I'm on another app on my phone, how do I stop it? I have a note 10plus

Have you tried clearing the app cache for the Messages app? https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077611/ We also suggest restarting the phone after completing the steps.
