My Galaxy note 8 has a black screen on the enter pin screen and home screen.

My phone has an issue where when it's off and I tap it awake I can see the time and etc. but I enter my pin. when I turn it on via the power button however I see nothing. I can also see the pin screen that shows after you restart your phone and the restart screen where it shows the phone name but nothing else. It started when I experienced a green melting screen and read online that a data wipe will fix it. so, I did the total data wipe and I saw I had a backup from 4 days ago and decided to download it. It was then 10-30 minutes later the phone got harder and harder to turn on until I couldn't.
