The cut and paste feature is now missing on my phone. I don't just want TEXT but parts of the screen. Can I get this feature reinstalled?

@Kline0927 Sorry that you are having difficulty. Can you provide more details and possibly a screenshot?

Until the most recent upgrade there was a useful pen feature that allowed a user to cut and paste a part of a page (not just lifting text). For example, I would cut and paste a WORDLE solution and send it to a friend. This function has disappeared from my list of PEN functions.

@Kline0927 Ah, that has been replaced by Smart Select. When you use Smart Select to select an area, you will then see a toolbar and some other icons. One of those is a T icon which allows you to grab the text from the selection. You can then copy the text for pasting later.

Thanks, but as I said I DID NOT want to copy text: I wanted to cut, paste and send a picture. This cut and paste option appears to be missing...

It's still there. Choose Smart select, draw around the area you want to copy, then click the copy icon. 1736352582799.jpg

Yes I get you both. Smart Select is the newer version with its own new way of selecting part of the screen. For some, it may be a little too smart than needed because it identifies the content and makes a rectangular selection area. The older version had a way to select a free form right out of the screen and paste it anywhere, which is now gone. Too bad
