Hello, We understand how frustrating it to have repeat an update. Have you tried clearing the cache partition of the phone from recovery mode?

To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.
Once you follow these steps, your phone will restart. You may be prompted for the update once more.
You can also try updating the phone using Smart Switch to see if that will solidify the installation: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077582/
If the phone continues to prompt for an update repeatedly, we recommend backing up your data and doing a factory reset. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/
After resetting the phone check to see if the newest update is installed.
If you continue to be prompted repeatedly to update the phone, we recommend having the phone serviced. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location  or by contacting customer service at 1-800-726-7864.
