Odd flicker/jitter when selecting something on anything in any app

This has been happening after the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G security update in August 2024. And ever since then I've been a little concerned about it since it occurs in every app in my phone.

(It's basically a little jitter/flicker that happens on my screen.)

I've tried clearing my cache, and rebooting/restarting my device hasn't worked.

Hello TeaAri, Welcome to the Community. We understand the concern with the flicker/jitter and stretched looking text in the apps.

Have you tried resetting the app settings? Phone Settings>General Management> Reset > Reset all settings

This does not remove your data, but will reset the apps. You will also need to reconnect to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices.

When is the next Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5g system/software update.

There are no more system updates for the Note 20 Ultra. Your service provider may push a security update. You would need to reach out to them to see if they are continuing security updates for the phone.
